COVID-19 Safety Plan
To our valued customers
With respect to the COVID‐19 pandemic, we have been focused on the health and safety of our customers, employees and community. With this focus paramount, we’d like to ensure that you are aware of the precautionary measures we are taking at Glacier TOYOTA.
We are now disinfecting all handles & surfaces hourly and following best practices laid out by our Provincial Health Authority. Hand sanitizer is located throughout the dealership. We have also increased the amount of fresh air coming into the building. We have reduced shared items / spaces to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 in our dealership. We have installed plexiglass at high traffic areas as well as floor markings & other physical distancing (2m) signage.
Hours of Operation
We continue to be open Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Parts and Service is open from 8am – 5pm and the Sales Department is open from 9am – 6pm.
We have instructed our employees to stay home and seek medical advice if they have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, or shortness breath. We expect the same from our guests. Increased diligence for hand-washing & personal hygiene with an awareness of proper cough / sneeze etiquette. We have also rearranged work areas allowing for 2m of physical distancing at each workstation. Where high traffic areas occur for our staff, we provide PPE to limit the risk of transmission. Our team has the right to refuse / report unsafe working conditions at any time.
Guest vehicles for service in-store are outfitted with seat protectors before going through maintenance or repair work. And all Glacier Toyota technicians are required to wear disposable gloves when working on vehicles. Once your vehicle service is complete, our technicians will disinfect interior touch points they may have come in contact with.
Vehicle pick-up and drop-off
Vehicles can be dropped off in the parking lot and our key dropbox is located in the man door left of the Drive Thru overhead door. Any other notes can be placed in the envelopes supplied at that location. Our phone number is posted on that door to clarify any additional details. We may be able to arrange to pick up your vehicle.
We are happy to answer sales and service related questions by email or phone. We can complete the majority of transactions with minimal guest contact. We can complete online credit applications for purchases, electronic transfers for banking, electronic signatures for contracts and delivery available in the northwest. Online service & parts requests – shipping available or delivery door to door.
